Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents in a nursing home setting, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications following the prescribed schedule and dosage under the direction of healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions, reporting observations to the nursing staff.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive social environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs.

Requirements:
- Valid certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols.
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with diverse care needs.
- Understanding of senior care principles and practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Background in social work or home care is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
