About us
Little Betty Steak Bar is a beautiful steak house style concept in Lane Park in the heart of Mountain Brook, AL . We offer thoughtful and elegant dishes such as A5 Japanese Kobe beef, hand crafted pastas, oysters and crudos. We have warm, unpretentious hospitality under the direction of Chef Kyle Biddy (Catch Steak - NYC/Aspen, Guard and Grace(Denver), Quality Italian(NYC/Denver)) and General Manager Nic Wyatt (Ravello, 28 Court)
Little Betty Steak Bar is seeking a genuinely friendly and professional hospitality-minded Server Assistant's! We are open for dinner only and offer part/full time positions. This is a position that could develop into a future server or bartender role for the right candidates.
This position reports to the Little Betty Front-of-House Managers. For this position, we are offering competitive hourly pay plus tip share.
Duties
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to customers
- Set up and clean tables before and after each customer
- Refill water glasses and provide additional condiments or utensils as needed
- Clear dishes and reset tables for the next customer
- Assist in running food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and customers to ensure smooth service
Experience (preferred, but not a must)
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Ambit POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and coworkers
- Basic knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Your assistance in delivering food, setting up tables, and providing excellent customer service will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

- Must be at least 19 years old
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
