Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles. Your strong communication skills and knowledge of automotive diagnostics will be essential in providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties: - Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles - Provide accurate and detailed information about available parts, including pricing and availability - Utilize inventory control systems to manage stock levels and ensure timely delivery of parts - Collaborate with the sales team to upsell additional products or services - Process customer orders, including invoicing and payment collection - Maintain a clean and organized parts department - Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive trends, technologies, and market changes - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory management and data analysis - Strong mathematical skills for pricing calculations and inventory control - Excellent negotiation skills to ensure competitive pricing with vendors - Knowledge of automotive diagnostics to accurately identify parts needed by customers - Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive parts department is preferred - Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and vendors - Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone Note: This is a paid position.
