Custodian II Job Opening Lake Ripley Elementary in Litchfield, Minnesota seeks a motivated, kid-friendly, and dependable custodian II to join its team for the evening shift. The duties for this position are, but not limited to: perform routine, manual work utilizing knowledge of various custodial materials, equipment, methods and procedures used in maintaining a clean, neat and orderly building. A boiler’s license is required for this position. Key responsibilities include: Sweep classrooms, hallways, gym and cafeteria Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas Mop floors Clean and mop restrooms Empty wastebaskets Clean Windows Clean classroom sinks and fill paper towel dispensers Scrub floors Set up and take down for activities Secure/lock up building at night Make minor repairs to desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, and other school equipment Change lights (low voltage repairs) Fix and maintain vacuums and other cleaning equipment Minor plumbing repairs Paint as needed Help with HVAC systems/filters Other duties as assigned Application Procedure: Submit your application online at www.litchfield.k12.mn.us.
