Lit Cigar Bar And Lounge is a small business in New Albany, IN. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to Make our customers happy and business a success . We prefer a professional and well skilled bartender that has experience and is willing to adapt to our bar lifestyle. .
Our work environment includes:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes or customer preferences
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate food
- Assist with back room setup, including arranging tables and chairs, setting up decorations, etc.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or bartending preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point of sale system
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Sales skills to upsell drinks or promote specials to customers
