The CPA Firm seeks a highly motivated, multitasking, service minded individual to join us as a fulltime Accountant.
The successful candidate must:
•Be experienced in accounting, financial statement preparation, financial statement analysis and monthly accounting close processes.
•Understand and apply accounting principles, research and resolve reconciliation differences and communicate effectively with Clients, Staff and Owners.
•Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial fast pace environment whereby innovation and drive are critical, success factors are evident, and a positive andcollaborative mind-set is continually present.
Essential Job Results
•Compile and present Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Activities, and Statement of Cash Flows Statement for multiple Clients to include downloading documents and recording financial activities and transactions.
•Perform monthly accounting closings for multiple Clients.
•Reconcile bank statements to general ledger accounts and research and resolve identified differences.
•Provide directives and support to the Clients to ensure the accounting processes and transactions are consistent with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This includes general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, fixed assets, consolidation of financial records and financial reporting.
•Ensure compliance with established accounting procedures and guidelines.
•Application of the privacy / confidentiality laws, regulations, regulatory standards, and policies and procedures applicable to CPA Firm and its Clients.
Essential Job Requirements
•Must be able to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects, and perform monthly accounting closings for multiple Clients.
•Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures processes and a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
•Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•High level of accuracy and strong quantitative skills.
•Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, databases), particularly spreadsheet experience.
•Highest level of ethics, honesty, and accuracy.

Pay: $45,050.00 - $62,500.00 per year
