What You Will Be Doing
  • Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot PC and networking issues
  • Design and install network infrastructure, including on-premises systems and cloud networking solutions. Includes server administration, WLAN, printers, handheld devices, routers, switches, etc.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of a backup/recovery system to minimize down time and loss of data in the event of a disaster
  • Collaborate with human resources to train new hires on proper use of computer equipment, software, and corporate MIS policies
  • Establishes networking environment and monitors performance by designing system configuration and directing system installation
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
  • Work with existing MSP to administer Microsoft 365 licenses/access across 100 team members, procuring/sourcing equipment to connect multiple office locations, in an efficient IT infrastructure
  • Define and create knowledgebase to centralize technical requirements
  • Develop protocols to support existing and future growth of the business
  • Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling maintenance upgrades across on premise and cloud servers
  • Utilizes experience to identify problematic relationships. Anticipates, prevents, and eliminates problems and creates efficient fixes. Facilitates elimination of problems and roadblocks before they occur
  • Establish & maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors
  • Assist in live site support and incident resolution that may include email support
What You Bring To The Job
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields
  • Several years of relevant work experience in technical engineering roles, such as software development, network engineering, technical operations, or similar
  • Experience in Technology infrastructure, including Network, Monitoring, Systems, Databases, etc.
  • Preferred experience with Windows and Mac Operating systems, Network and VPN systems, M365 admin, and active directory
  • Independent and self-starting, capable of troubleshooting technical issues without internal support
  • Proficient in managing remote IT Help Desk teams and building internal knowledgebase for future growth
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
