In your position, you will lead safety and environmental processes, grow programs at ACI sites, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. What You Will Be Doing
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety laws and maintain necessary records
  • Provide regulatory interpretation and technical support on safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene matters
  • Manage overall safety, health, and environmental activities to reduce loss, liability, and address safety concerns
  • Implement and maintain ISO programs such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Stay updated with OSHA/NIOSH/NFPA/PSM policies and seek ongoing training opportunities
  • Train employees on EHS compliance and communicate performance results regularly
  • Review incidents, conduct follow-up interviews, and determine root causes
  • Review and approve Job Hazard Analysis forms for all departments
  • Utilize safety software programs for reporting and management
  • Complete and report on OSHA 300/301 logs
  • Analyze company accident statistics and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop new safety programs and rules, gaining management approval and implementing them
What You Bring To The Job
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or related field in Engineering
  • OSHA 30hr certified
  • Familiarity with GMP, OSHA, EPA, DNR, ISO, PSM/RMP programs
  • Several years of experience in safety in a manufacturing environment for consummable goods
  • Knowledgeable in Local, State, and Federal compliance regulations
  • Skilled in influencing and conducting effective safety training
  • Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance plans and software
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Adherence to personal protective equipment requirements
  • Internal public speaking and training or the regulatory bodies
  • Microsoft Office / Excel
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills aligned with company goals
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality
  • Confident, energetic, and passionate with strong project management skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset for process enhancement
  • Travel RequirementsMonthly travel to Brockton
