Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Gen AI & PowerEdge Server Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of General Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) fundamentals and expertise in PowerEdge servers, specifically focusing on the new XE9680 models with AMD chips. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L1 triage support, monitoring server performance, and collaborating with customers to manage support tickets for large GenAI Super POD deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

   • Serve as a subject matter expert in Gen AI fundamentals and PowerEdge server technologies, particularly the XE9680 models with AMD chips.
   • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AMD chip PowerEdge servers, especially those being released to the public in March 2024.

2. L1 Triage Support:

   • Provide Level 1 triage support on behalf of the customer for large GenAI Super POD deployments.
   • Monitor server performance, perform diagnostics, and identify failures or alerts promptly.

3. Issue Management:

   • Work closely with customers to open, track, and resolve support tickets efficiently.
   • Ensure effective communication and follow-up with customers to guarantee timely resolution of issues.

4. Monitoring and Diagnostics:

   • Continuously monitor the health and performance of PowerEdge servers.
   • Perform diagnostic procedures to troubleshoot and resolve server failures or alerts.

Must-Have Skills:

• Gen AI Fundamentals:

  • In-depth knowledge of General Artificial Intelligence concepts and applications.
  • Experience with large-scale GenAI deployments and infrastructure.

• PowerEdge Server Expertise:

  • Extensive experience with Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, specifically the XE9680 models.
  • Familiarity with AMD chip PowerEdge servers, including those set to be released in March 2024.

• Technical Support and Diagnostics:

  • Proven ability to perform L1 triage and diagnostic procedures on server hardware.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in handling server failures and alerts.

• Customer Support:

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
