Lion is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Palm Springs, CA
In this diverse function, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced fire training products.
We are looking for a candidate with technical skills to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of products. Additionally, this role will require customer service skills to support our customers with trouble shooting via phone or remote data connection.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Performs basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities
- High / Low voltage, AC, & VDC, 3phase, split phase
- Thorough documentation of work completed on a daily basis
- Product troubleshooting and providing feedback and guidance remotely to customers
- PLC / SCADA Control System experience preferred
- Basic plumbing and gas fitting experience preferred
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license & passport
- Ability to lift -lbs on a regular basis
- Willing to travel -% of the time domestically
- Strong verbal communication skills able to explain complex issues and resolutions to customers
- Strong written skills
- Works well in a team environment
