Internal Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opportunity just south of Washington D.C. Private Practice with MD / APPs. If you like the idea of a smaller group and less office drama, this is a sweet place. Office only- no hospital or ALF, SNF rounding.

About the PA or NP opportunity

• Office hours are 9-5, Monday-Friday
• Panel style Medicine
• EMR is Eclinical works
• Limited phone call only
• No evenings or weekends
• 18-20 patients each day
• EKG, Spirometry, Echo, Sleep study all on site
• See patients for Wellness exam including Diagnostics including lipid panel and HbA1C
• Follow patients with chronic illness like Congestive Heart Failure, Pulmonary edema, Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid disease
• Acute illness visits like URI, sprains, headache, gastritis, and UTI
• Lab on site

Requirements of the PA or NP opportunity

• Masters Degree completed
• Maryland State Medical License
• One year of experience in Primary Care
• Interest in Adult Medicine (over 18 but most of patient population is middle age to geriatrics
• Strong EMR documentation skills for writing progress notes
• Comfortable with commute to office

• Salary range is $110-$135,000 depending on experience
