Linke Resources is Hiring a Certified Peer Specialist Near Reading, PA

Linke Resources is recruiting for a Peer Specialist position for a short term (up to 14 days) stabilization program serving adults with mental and behavioral health diagnoses in Reading, PA.
Part-Time up to 24 Hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Provide services as defined by the program description, best practice standards and in full compliance with Recovery Model Principles.
  • Provide services as dictated by client and program needs.
  • Develop (with assistance of consumer and/or coordinator) and implement service plans.
  • Develop and maintain linkages with adjunct providers to coordinate consumer services.
  • Identify resources which are accessible and beneficial to clients and encourage their utilization.
  • Advocate for consumers as necessary.
  • Help consumers identify improvements needed in living environment, and assist in making improvements.
  • Support consumers in maintaining healthy relationships and resolving conflicts.
  • Must be compassionate, flexible and knowledgeable of Supportive counseling.
  • Complete appropriate documentation of services/interventions and consumer response to those interventions.
  • Must be willing to assist consumers in development and implementation of Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).
  • Maintain accurate records and submit records in a timely manner as dictated by the program.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED certification. Peer Specialist certification.
