Lingo Staffing is hiring immediately for a Junior Copy Writer in the Roanoke, VA area

As an essential member of the marketing crew, the Copywriter will write exceptional content for emails and email campaigns, direct mail, digital marketing, social media, ads, blogs, scripts, press releases, catalogs, websites, trade publications, corporate communications, and other duties as assigned. Proofread and edit existing copy? Yes, they need you to tackle that too!

Job Title: Junior Copy Writer

Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $60k-$65k

Monday - Friday

Qualifications
The ideal Copywriter checks these boxes:
§ Demonstrated ability to take medical and technical data and make it digestible, engaging, and relevant to audiences of all ages and backgrounds
§ A creative and collaborative professional with several years of experience in a relevant copywriter role (including an emphasis on public relations writing & video scripting)
§ A deadline-driven, time-management dynamo. You can shift gears (and priorities) as the business demands
§ Understanding and application of brand messaging across multi-channel platforms
§ Mac and PC proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite, InCopy, InDesign, WordPress
§ Degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred

Key Copywriter responsibilities include:
The copywriter, in partnership with the cross-functional marketing team, must effectively interface with sales, customer service, manufacturing, and senior management.
§ Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters). Your words must inform and engage target audiences
§ Perform research on products, services, and related topics
§ Brainstorm with team members for content creation and idea generation
§ Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
§ Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
§ Interview subjects for marketing deliverables
