My client is a specialist Concrete Shell subcontractor based in Naples. They are involved in commercial projects between $5 million and $75 million in the local area. Their specialty is the placement and finishing of structural concrete. They are looking for a Project Manager, ideally with experience in Concrete shell construction, but they would also consider PMs from a GC background.
The Job Responsibilities of the Project Manager
Project Management and Oversight: Oversee concrete shell projects between $5 million - $75 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Pre-Construction Activities: Participate in pre-construction processes including planning, scope determination, cost estimating, and risk evaluation.
Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project.
RFI and Submittals: Manage the Request for Information and submission processes, ensuring timely information flow among stakeholders.
Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and coordination between teams.
Budget Management: Monitor project finances, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and managing the budget.
Quality Control: Ensure work complies with all relevant standards and regulations, upholding the company's commitment to quality and safety.
Team Coordination and Supervision: Lead the project team, ensuring collaboration, proper training, and adherence to safety protocols.
Software Proficiency: Use project management software such as MS Project, Procore, and Vista/Viewpoint effectively.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and documentation for all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
The Ideal Project Manager will:
Ideally have experience as a Project Manager on Concrete shell Projects but they would also be interested in Project Managers from a GC background.
Have 4 years experience as a Construction Project Manager
Be commutable to Naples, Fl or be willing to relocate prior to the start of the job.
