Job Description:
Manages and coordinates activities of Parts Department staff – to include internal and external parts sales, transfers, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving, order processing and administrative functions. Ability to delicate daily functions of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
· Recommends and implements measures to enhance customer service and elevate performance of Parts Department
· Develops and maintains good working relationships with both internal and external customers, utilizes conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
· Maintains and reviews parts business practices and procedures, ensuring effective communication and flow within parts department
· Interacts with Inventory Control Manager to ensure proper parts sales coverage and inventory levels
· Promotes Parts revenue by ensuring local Parts activities focus on Corporate initiatives and market programs
· Routinely analyzes business flow and adjusts employee schedules to meet the business needs as required
· Reviews Parts Department Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and makes necessary adjustments to improve metrics
· Ensures Parts Department staff is adequately trained
· Promotes and adheres to all Safety regulations and policies
· Performs annual employee reviews
· Other duties as requested by management
Education/Experience/Skill:
· High School diploma or GED
· 3-5 years related experience
· Equivalent combination of education and experience
· Proficient computer skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· General knowledge of maintenance repair, parts department, sales, equipment ownership
· Equipment parts experience a plus
