- You will be utilizing Six Sigma (DMAIC) and Lean methodologies to drive culture change to improve process disciplines
- Furthermore, you will identify business needs and potential opportunities for process improvements in the regional organization, recommending enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Managing Six Sigma & Lean improvement projects that align with the organization’s overall strategy and goals, including scoping and prioritization, determining project financial impact and savings, and presenting results to the leadership team as necessary is part of your role
- You also will be organizing and managing ideation events like Kaizen sessions, utilizing creative problem-solving techniques
- Additionally, you will be acting as a subject matter expert and supporting the continuous improvement process by educating, coaching, and mentoring others on improvement tools and their application
- You also will be mentoring productivity project leads and when necessary, providing support as a Black Belt/Green Belt on improvement projects as required
- Facilitating effective and timely completion of improvement projects by working across organizational barriers and coordinating processes is part of your role
- You will be fostering continuous improvement of the processes in IMS and QHSE (reporting department) processes via best practice sharing and identification of improvement initiatives/projects, with effective implementation of their results
- Additionally, you will be supporting management and leadership in the development of strategic plans, standards, processes, and procedures to improve business processes and comply with regulatory requirements
- Part of your role will be promoting knowledge sharing through the identification and dissemination of best practices and lessons learned from improvement initiatives/projects, ensuring that they are permanently implemented in the relevant work processes, as applicable
