As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing appointments, ensuring smooth operations in our dental office. Responsibilities: - Schedule patient appointments using our office scheduling system - Coordinate with dental providers to ensure efficient appointment scheduling - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and services - Assist with front desk duties, including checking patients in and out, collecting payments, and managing paperwork - Collaborate with the medical records department to ensure accurate documentation of patient information - Manage the scheduling system to optimize appointment availability and minimize wait times Experience: - Previous experience working in an office or dental office setting is preferred - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality - Knowledge of medical scheduling systems and phone systems - Experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist is a plus - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive pay and benefits packages for our employees.
