Excellent organizational and management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders as well as excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Training in composition pedagogy. Demonstrated commitment to promoting equitable literacy practices and creating inclusive, accessible learning environments for diverse populations.
A record of scholarship and publication or evidence of a productive research agenda.
Previous experience with or preparation for teaching courses in professional writing and rhetoric and composition.
Ph.D. in English or a related field by start date of appointment.
Evidence of experience working with underprepared and diverse student population.
Established record of publication as well as experience and excellence in teaching a variety of courses in specialty.
Physical Demands
Light sedentary office work.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
