Lincoln Tech is Hiring a Maintenance Worker Near Lincoln, RI
Lincoln Tech's Lincoln, RI campus is looking for a Maintenance worker who will be responsible for general maintenance of the entire property, including responding in a timely manner to work orders, maintenance issues, and any assigned projects. In this role, the selected candidate will also confirm the delivery of all new program equipment, confirm receipt, and follow up with the Director of Education on issues.
- General handyman experience, including general knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and building trades.
- Ability to transport, handle, and lift 75 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
- Performing plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining door hardware and locks
- Remodeling, painting, and plastering.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining fixtures
- Installing tile flooring and other floor coverings
- Maintaining onsite equipment and machinery
- Routine general maintenance
- Performing monthly maintenance and safety checks in buildings, machinery, and equipment
- Responding to after-hours maintenance calls
- Assisting in setting up special events or luncheons and moving items
- Assisting with general cleaning as needed
- Locking and unlocking buildings as necessary
- Ordering supplies
- Attend new program rollout meetings, coordinating the delivery of specific equipment and confirming receipt. Provide spreadsheets to track all material received
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, TEAMS, etc.).
- Forklift license preferred or the ability to attain within 60 days after hire required.
