Lincoln Tech is Hiring a Career advisor Near Queens, NY

Job Description

Join Lincoln Tech onsite in Queens, NY as a Career Services Advisor. Establish employer partnerships, uncover job opportunities, and engage students in activities preparing them for their job search and employment interviews.

Inspire students to launch successful careers! Salary : $50,000 - $55,000

Key Qualifications

  • Associate degree or related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience using social media platforms
  • Able to work at least one night per week

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active lead database to ensure sufficient job opportunities for students and graduates
  • Develop relationships with potential employers and / or internship sites
  • Coordinate and schedule employer interviews with students and graduates
  • Make follow-up calls regarding interview outcomes and employment confirmation
  • Maintain consistent contact with graduates until employment is successfully secured within their field of study
  • Provide in-person workshops on resume preparation and career search strategies

Additional Requirements

  • Sales or previous staffing / recruitment / career services / coaching experience
  • Familiarity with online job searches and tools
