Duties:

• Attends work on a regular and predictable basis.
• Views customer orders in computerized order system. Pulls, scans, and packages appropriate equipment and/or medications to fill order. Affixes prescription barcode labels to medication or equipment packaging and affixes the box label to the container. Adheres to specialized instructions and delivers filled order to the pharmacist for verification prior to shipment.
• Organize and process returns and deliveries. Stock workstations and warehouse with product.
• Prepares packages for shipment using computerized shipping systems by creating and affixing accurate shipping labels to the shipping container, sorting the packages by carrier, stacking them in the appropriate area for pickup, and loading/unloading product on/off trucks.
• Maintains safe and sanitary work environment by keeping warehouse and workstations neat and clean.

Experience:

• Graduate from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Acquiring Missouri Pharmacy Technician licensure upon start and maintaining during employment tenure.
• Strong attention to detail with good computer skills.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and various cutting tools (i.e., scissors, box knife, etc.). The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time and walk a moderate amount. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
