POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the MP&L Manager, the Material Planner ensures the delivery of raw materials to meet production requirements and new product launch initiatives while managing inventory levels to the agreed upon min/max levels, communicating delivery status, escalating risks as appropriate and updating suppliers on changes to forecasts. This role interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and requires the ability to maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in an office environment and production area. Time spent on production floor may be necessary for completing certain aspects of position thus exposure to seasonally hot and humid conditions, dust, noise and other elements will occur.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time, exempt position.
