Job Summary:
This position supports production, and the work schedule will mirror any production area they are assigned to support. This position drives a forklift to move materials primarily; however, there may be times when other equipment should be utilized to move materials or other duties outside of driving a forklift are performed to support the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Servicing work cell, by replenishment of stock, components, clean dunnage, etc. Proper scanning of material or entry into software to ensure accurate inventory flow.
· Inspection of finished skid for missing parts, and tag accuracy, initialing tags, banding skid, filling out stock transfer form and placing in warehouse.
· Cleanliness of work cells, warehouse, outside breezeway and dunnage storage area.
· All other duties as required by management. Loading and unloading of trucks, working on sorts, packing parts, straightening the warehouse, breezeway, dunnage area, and any other tasks that is assigned by the management of the Materials Department. The Materials Handlers and Leads are the only people authorized to place finished product in the warehouse.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
· Ability to train other employees, as needed.
· Ability and willingness to adhere to all safety rules and regulations including but not limited to completion of all forklift inspection sheets.
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to work 10-hour shifts and weekend hours, as needed or required.
· The employee will be required to work extra hours depending on production schedules and/or cover for other employees’ vacation at the discretion of management, timely notice will be given.
Education and Experience:
· At least five years’ experience in operating forklift trucks in a high paced manufacturing environment.
· Prior experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.
Work Environment: The job works in conditions with constant exposure (67% or more) to noise, odors, dust, drafts, and chemicals.
