We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team!

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor/control construction projects through administrative direction of on-site contacts to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures
• Clearly define project goals/objectives, create project “cook books”, monitor costs, and serve as customers’ main point of contact throughout project lifespan
• Initiate and maintain relationships with prime clients and contacts in order to facilitate construction activities
• Refine project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility
• Direct Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Project Assistants Provide project managers with feedback, encouragement and advice
• Supervise the work of Project Managers when necessary
• Troubleshoot problems that arise during projects
• Lead assigned projects to completion
• Represent company in project meetings, assist in strategy meetings, etc.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with client
• Other duties as assigned
• Develop individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needs
• Communicate with our IT department about resource allocation
• Host a project meeting at least once per week for each project under your direction
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
• Communicate project objectives to all team members involve

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree; or 10 years of previous experience in construction, design, finance, or project management
• Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance
• Previous experience managing people
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities
• Ability to communicate both verbally and through writing in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit and analyze data
• Ability to create, edit and analyze Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files and Power Point presentations
• Ability to create, navigate, search and update Rogers Electric’s systems (work orders, reports, quotes, invoices, emails, etc.)
• Previous people management/supervisory experience required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in computer- or business-related discipline required (Master’s degree preferred)
• 10 years’ experience in software development or design
• 6 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Ability to complete projects on time and within the stated budget
• Excellent communication, organization, time-management and leadership skill
