Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as hotels, offices, or residential buildings. Your role will involve performing a range of cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for occupants.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning products and equipment
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
- Adhere to housekeeping schedules and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
Skills:
- Experience in floor care, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of custodial practices and housekeeping management principles
