Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals in a unit
- Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate care plans
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Coordinate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Implement and enforce infection control protocols
- Provide education and training to staff members on best practices and new procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of [location]
- Proven experience in nursing, with a focus on neonatal or pediatric care preferred
