Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has a full-time Case Manager position available in the Youth Housing Opportunities program and we are looking for YOU!
Lighthouse Youth & Family Services works to empower young people and families to succeed through a continuum of care that promotes healing and growth. All Lighthouse services are trauma-informed and designed to meet each individual’s needs, challenges, and goals. Lighthouse’s programs are fully accredited and licensed and respond to the changing needs of our community. Operating since 1969, Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has grown from an agency serving 16 young people daily in Cincinnati to a multi-service organization serving thousands of young people and families statewide. The agency’s work is centered on being a leader in creating a community where every young person has the opportunity to thrive. Starting Hourly Rate: $19.04 and up
Essential Functions:
- Work with single and parenting young adults, age 18-24
- Teach life skills, maintaining case plans, and providing supportive services in site based apartments.
- Conduct apartment visits with assigned clients
- Provide and maintain appropriate documentation for client files.
- Provide ongoing guidance toward successful individual and program outcomes for clients related to employment, housing and self-sufficiency goals.
Qualifications:
- BS in Social Work or related field required.
- At least one years of case management experience required. Experience working with youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness preferred.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Must be able to work occasional evenings to attend client meetings or group activities.
- Bilingual and/or Sign Language proficiency a plus.
