About the Job and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for performing all assembly of electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems, while following all ESD safety standards.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
  • Perform all assembly of electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems, while following all ESD safety standards, written assembly procedures and oral directions.
  • Learn how to rework assemblies both electrically and mechanically when needed.
  • Learn how to follow all production processes for assembly and torques.
  • Learn how to input possible changes to the procedures and documentation for a more efficient flow of the product, and for time and cost efficiency.
  • For all on -site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
  • If ever working remote or hybrid model (from home, or offsite location), must be able to travel to LWS office when requested if any company needs arise.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and as a Team.
  • Get along with others, not creating an offensive or hostile work environment.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds and 41 pounds as a two-person lift.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of experience and training.
