*Remote Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Sr. DevOps Engineer position! This is a 6 month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States working EST hours. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
• Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, PowerShell scripts, and other automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and availability of Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, PaaS (ex: storage accounts, disks, app services, virtual networks), and Azure services.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure infrastructure, including network security groups, firewall rules, access control, and encryption mechanisms.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies, tools, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to technical discussions, development efforts across multiple teams and areas of responsibility, and infrastructure planning.
• Create technical documentation.
• Lead and mentor a growing DevOps team.
What You'll Need to Have:
• Minimum 4-6 years' experience in building Infrastructure automation and technologies to the Cloud; 2 years of experience as a senior engineer preferred.
• International experience a plus, ability to speak French, Spanish, and/ or Portuguese is not necessary but would be a plus. English required.
• Agile methodology especially Scrum (epics, user stories, features, MVP...).
• Cloud services Microsoft Azure (IaaS / PaaS).
• Version control software and job execution tools (Git, Repos).
• Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) practices, concepts, and tools.
• C# language and .NET framework.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI, Perl, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and cloud architecture design patterns.
Pay Range: $60-$70/hr
