Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Steward to join our team. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our banquet and restaurant areas. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our food service operations. Duties: - Assist with food preparation and service, ensuring all dishes are presented in a timely manner - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining, and storage areas - Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests - Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures - Support the kitchen staff with various tasks as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during events and catering services Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic food service principles and practices - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Skills: - Banquet experience is a plus - Ability to assist in various aspects of restaurant operations - Proficiency in basic food preparation techniques - Knowledge of proper food handling procedures - Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness We offer competitive pay rates for this position.
