We are in search of an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the creation, configuration, support, and maintenance of solutions within the Platform as a Service (PaaS) domain. The ideal candidate will enhance the ServiceNow platform, align with our collaborative culture, and bring expertise in cloud-enabled systems and Agile methodology.

In this role, you will play an instrumental role in optimizing and enhancing the ServiceNow platform by utilizing the App Engine to develop, support and maintain applications quickly and efficiently. Additionally, you will assist in data migrations as necessary to help extend their existing IT infrastructure and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications using the ServiceNow App Engine.
• Execute full lifecycle software development for ServiceNow solutions, including coding, testing, and deployment.
• Help automate business processes and create custom workflow applications.
• Plan and implement data migration strategies from various sources to ServiceNow.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and efficiency during the migration process.
• Develop and optimize data transformation scripts and workflows.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to assess, plan, and implement efficiency-driven changes within OHC solutions.
• Uphold security, policy, and procedural standards.
• Engage in agile methodologies: backlog grooming, story point estimation, solution design, SCRUM mastering, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of ServiceNow Developer experience.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow development, including custom applications and modules.
• Experience with data migration.
• Proficiency in cloud-enabled systems, Jira, Active Directory, and full stack development.
• Strong UI/UX/Customer Experience skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior or current security clearance at the public trust level or above is preferred.
