Light of Vision Adult Day Training (ADT), serves adults over the age of 18 & up with developmental disabilities and provides a caring, supportive environment for consumers to develop the skills necessary to live more independent and self- sufficient lives. We encourage each individual to discover their skills and potential and we personalize strategies to enhance strengths and encourage growth in all other areas of daily living. LSD-3 goals vary by each consumer. Each consumer is encouraged to participate in a variety of both small and large group activities that increase and reinforce living skills and socialization in a fun and relaxed environment.

We’re looking for committed Direct Care Providers at our Adult Day Training Program. If you love people and are good at engaging, and assisting people with disabilities, this is the role for you.

Our Daily routine consists of providing an atmosphere of unconditional love and acceptance that allows each individual the time, encouragement, and confidence to work on and achieve their own personal goals, in a dependable, but enjoyable atmosphere. Activities include:

Operational Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00am -3:00pm.

**Must be able to work one weekend out of the month at our Group home**

All applicants must be able to:

* Provide direct support and assistance to clients.

*Carry out any behaviors that occur.

*Supervise clients assigned at all times.

* Work together well in a group setting.

* Be outdoors occasionally.

*Complete Daily notes, Data Sheets, End of the shift reports.

* Maintain a clean and organized environment.

* Maintain clients funds and receipts.

*Must be able to drive- have a valid Driver License, and clean driving record.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Weekends as needed
