• Lead a team of 15 professionals dedicated to the health and safety of Lifespan’s more than 17,000 employees
• Time will be split 50% clinical, 50% administrative
• Work collaboratively with a variety of partners to support the strategic vision, direction of Employee and Occupational Health Services, Well-being and Integrated Absence Management for the system
• Ensure a systematic approach for the delivery of employee and occupational health care while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations and regulatory requirements as well as equity access and treatment in all areas
• Provide clinical leadership for system Employee and Occupational Health & Worker’s Compensation matters and provides subject matter expertise as well as clinical oversight of Occupational Claims for Workers Compensation. Acts as medical subject matter expert in Worker’s Compensation matters

• Board certified in Occupational Health, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Licensed or ability to become licensed in RI
• Interest or experience in Occupational Health
• MPH and/or DOT certification a plus but not required
