JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of WMS TechOps will be responsible for the successful implementation and use of our 3rd party vendor Warehouse Management System (Tecsys) in our commercial 3PL Healthcare Logistics department. The successful candidate will manage a small team of WMS analysts ensuring the daily operations of our WMS system meets the needs of our Commercial Operations team. Leading this team will require the successful candidate to consistently require the team to research and identify WMS system improvements that help increase our profit margins and improve Commercial Operations efficiencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement overall WMS TechOps strategy working closely with the Commercial Operations team.
• Build, manage, and development of WMS TechOps super-user team.
• Responsible for onboarding all new commercial clients into the Tecsys Elite system.
• Responsible for all client product data requests concerning pricing, location, additions, changes, deletes.
• Acts as SME for all feature and functionality requests within the Tecsys Elite product suite (WMS, DMS, TMS).
• Lead an effort to evaluate and eliminate product customizations to better align with base product core functionality and processes.
• Responsible for all new commercial warehouse location setups in the Tecsys Elite system.
• Works with EDI, Account Management, and Client Services teams to manage customer data issues and corrections and determine root cause.
• Continued assessment of product upgrade features and functions to determine upgrade cadence to support the business.
• Participate in RFI and RFP processes to assist in estimating implementation time and costs for Tecsys Elite, EDI, and integrations (Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• Develop and manage annual WMS IT Operations budget and forecast.
• Manage the Tecsys vendor relationship including contract negotiations and SLA accountability.
• Maintain overall client data integrity.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in Warehouse Logistics and Management.
• Prudence in management of confidential information.
• Demonstration of the following:

• Strong working knowledge with warehousing and distribution software.

• Must be a self-starter who takes initiative in development and completion of projects.
• Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to safely conduct occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking and lifting to perform assigned tasks.
• Activities occur in a typical office environment; some activities may be conducted in warehouse.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

• Equipment: Laptop computer, cell phone, fax machine, copier, and desk phone.
• Systems: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Warehouse Management, Distribution Management, Transportation Management, Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite.
