For 50 years, LifePath has been providing a variety of community and residential services to individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout 7 counties in Pennsylvania. The Director of I.T. will be responsible for developing and managing all the various components of an Agency-wide information system, including hardware, software, and training; integrating data from one department to another

JOB REQUIREMENT FOR DIRECTOR OF I.T.:

-Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5 years experience in managing Microsoft based networks, including hardware and software installation and development; in depth knowledge of Microsoft program and applications; and proven ability to organize and administer large data sets. Previous electron health record experience helpful

-Responsible for the oversight and supervisor of the I.T. department and staff

-Purchase and install hardware and software as needed

-Manages the services and maintenance of all hardware

-Assist with training staff when new software updates or technology is implemented

-Fulfills the role of the HIPPA Security Officer

-Maintains inventory of appropriate equipment

-Develops annual budget, including proposed capital outlays

-Maintains a high level of expertise in I.T. to include HIPPA security and Cyber security

Available to assist supervisors with I.T. issues which may include travel to another site

-Develops and maintains a data information system, in cooperation with Management staff

-Produces reports and analyses as needed

-Maintain strict standards of confidentiality

-Ensures the integrity of the systems

-Excellent project management skills

-As a leader and member of the Management Team, continual collaboration and cooperation with all co-workers is expected

-Ability to read and comprehend English language to understand work assignments, LifePath policies and procedures, and perform job safely.
