Position Summary:

 The Salesforce Administrator is a member of the team responsible for managing the performance and security of the Client Management System at LifeMoves. They will be responsible for supporting end users, managing accounts and permissions, monitoring and managing data, troubleshooting system issues, and developing and testing system enhancements in partnership with the Sr. Salesforce Administrator. The Salesforce Administrator operates within established norms, as well as developing new standards.

Primary Duties: 

  • End-user support
  • Work with end-users to understand, document, and resolve system issues as well as identify potential opportunities for improvement 
  • Maintain the support request and project management system 
  • Communicate with stakeholders about upcoming Salesforce releases and enhancements 
  • Support the delivery and development of training for Salesforce users 
  • System administration and development 
  • User account maintenance
  • Data management (bulk data operations, de-duplication) 
  • Development of ad hoc and operational reports and dashboards
  • Execute and test updates to data architecture as well as development of formulas, validation rules, declarative automation, and other components 
  • Review and test Salesforce releases and updates 
  • Monitor flows, integrations, and other ongoing processes for errors 
  • Ongoing documentation 

Other duties: 

  • Create and maintain process documentation for key Learning and Impact business processes 
  • Perform other related duties and departmental coverage as assigned 
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings 

Position Qualifications


Position Qualifications: 

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive to dynamic business needs 
  • Ability to create fields, lightning pages, and page layouts, reports, dashboards, flows, and validation rules 
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model including sharing rules, roles, profiles, sharing settings, etc.
  • Sufficient understanding of Salesforce data model/architecture to be able to assist in designing business applications 
  • Advanced Excel Skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is strongly preferred 
  • Non-profit experience preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
