Summary:

Responsible for inventory control, receiving and documentation of all deliveries and shipments of supplies. 

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5PM

Responsibilities:

1. Monitors and inventories all supplies needed to support the various departments and/or locations.
2. Maintain inventory par levels.
3. Obtains Purchase Orders and places orders with vendors and/or service agencies following established protocols.
4. Verifies deliveries against purchase orders with follow-up as appropriate.
5. Maintain storeroom in clean and safe environment.
6. Appropriately disposition in-coming and non-conforming supplies.
7. Receives supplies and ensures that the proper labeling is attached (i.e. Date Received and Bar-Code labels).
8. Receive and transfer all delivered supply information in the Purchasing Inventory system.
9. Responsible for filling orders and issuing of supplies to internal departments utilizing the Purchasing system.

Requirements:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. 1 year experience in an inventory shipping and receiving position preferred.
3. Ability to interact with all personnel, management, and telephone contacts.
4. Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
5. Manual dexterity necessary to complete the duties assigned.
6. Appropriate interpersonal and staff interaction/communication skills.
7. Mental acuity to meet deadlines and prepare accurate documentation in compliance with policies, procedures and all other regulatory agency requirements.
8. Ability to lift boxes and supplies up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:

A friendly, team-oriented/interactive work environment. Routinely works eight hours, although deadlines may require extended working hours.
