Essential Functions:

• Help in ambulation, transferring to and from the bed, and routine physical therapy exercises
• Assist with everyday chores such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing soiled or unsoiled linens.
• Keep clients in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
• Maintain resident clothing and closet in a neat and orderly manner
• Monitor and record vital signs, input/output, and other significant changes of the patient’s health
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe living environment
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Accompany patients to doctor appointments, shopping and other errands outside.
• Help residents take prescribed medication
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and above
• High school diploma or GED
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Complete a criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more when needed
• Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance
