We have an immediate opportunity for a Corporate Relations Specialist.

General Summary: LifeCare is seeking a Corporate Relations Specialist to join our corporate office and work with our business development team. This individual is a strategic professional who will report directly to the President and be responsible for managing, nurturing, and expanding strategic partnerships with the leadership at major patient-referring hospital partners. The Corporate Relations Specialist will identify, prioritize, and execute upon opportunities to acquire new relationships, as well as deepen and broaden relationships with current referring hospital partners and potential referring hospital partners to increase LifeCare’s footprint in the North Texas healthcare community resulting in an increase in referred patients across our network of hospitals. This includes developing an overall strategic partner relationship marketing plan, managing day-to-day networking of relationships, providing insight to the value of each relationship, and ensuring high-quality representation of LifeCare at marketing opportunity events.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement the partnership business development strategy to drive an overall growth in patient census and revenue.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including potential partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.
  • Calls on leadership-level partners to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, and collaborates for future needs and expectations.
  • Use a consultative selling approach across multiple touch points (in addition to referring hospitals) to open new opportunities and maintain relationships across the healthcare landscape in North Texas and potential new partners.
  • Introduces solutions to partners in building and strengthening mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Collaborates with VP of Marketing, Corporate Director of Business Development, our hospital CEOs, and our business development teams to align partner marketing and business development initiatives with overall strategies and organizational goals.
  • Networks within the North Texas community as a representative of LifeCare.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and partner needs.
  • Adheres to LifeCare policies, procedures, all safety plans and all standards imposed by regulatory organizations.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness is required.

Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of business development experience
  • Proven track record of success in business development working with leadership level clients.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with partners, delivers a simple, secure, and seamless partner experience.
  • Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing partners and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting new partner’s needs.
  • Results-driven focus on achieving target goals outlined in strategic marketing plan.
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to connect, influence, and engage.
  • Extensive networking skills are required.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
