Summary
- This position is responsible for general facility, building and equipment maintenance and repair, both scheduled and unscheduled tasks, as assigned by the Call Center and/or Facilities and Maintenance management.
- In general, tasks that will be completed include: Work Order completion, Preventative Maintenance completion, problem identification and resolution, determination of material and supplies required for problem resolution, documentation of activities, utilization of the Computer Maintenance Management System, and communicating with the department’s management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
- 5-7 years of experience in a maintenance field
- Employees in this position are subject to be on-call 24 hours a day and are required to provide a contact phone number where they can be reached or carry an electronic pager
- Weekend rotation
- Must have full Maryland Drivers' license (not provisional) and good driving record
