Lifebloom Corp. is Hiring a Tablet Press Machine Operator Near Brea, CA

As a Tablet Press Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a tablet press machine to produce dietary supplements. You will also be responsible for cleaning the equipment, utensils, and the room in which you operate. Mold changes will also be required depending on the schedule. Other tasks include assisting the other processes including, but not exhaustive to operating other equipment to mill raw materials or inspect products.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), and must be able to interpret, follow and complete scheduled production on time.
Must have the ability to read, follow detailed Batch Production Record instructions and fill out documents that include the following tasks:
- Set up and operate equipment; if needed, adjust settings during operation.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment i.e. perform mold changes.
- Verification of equipment settings and molds before tableting.
- Perform in-process checks until the batch is complete i.e. fill weight, hardness, etc.
- Collect and weigh tablet yields into containers using platform bench scales.
- Calculate and record total theoretical tablet yield and actual yield.
- Load containers on pallets for in-house coating or outsourced coating.
Can be exposed to allergens (such as egg powders), odors, dust or particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Ensure proper operation of equipment and promptly reports any concerns to management.
Clean and sanitize equipment/part prior to and/or after use; disassembling and reassembling as needed.
Sweep/wash floors and work areas to maintain equipment and work area in a sanitary condition.
Work with QA Personnel to perform quality checks on a daily basis.
Develop strong lines of communication with other co-workers to ensure plant efficiency.
Must wear appropriate gear: hairnets, gloves, hearing protection, dust masks, etc.
Perform other duties as needed.

Experience and Skilled required:

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to use a calculator to add, multiply, subtract and divide decimals and basic units of measure.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
Required to stand for long periods of time, stoop and bend, stretch and reach with arms extended to remove or lift boxes.
Will be exposed to allergens (powders), odors, dust, or particles.
Must be able to withstand loud noises; noise level can be loud.
Non-management full-time position: Mon-Fri (8 hr shift) -- may be required to work overtime and weekend.
No working remote.
