Practice Manager
Life Solutions Counseling Center is seeking a task oriented, self-starter who enjoys making a positive difference in the lives they touch. Life Solutions Counseling Center is a small independent mental health practice looking for a reliable and organized Practice Manager. The essential functions of the Practice Manager role are to help keep therapists organized, walking new clients through the intake process, and general administrative tasks. Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Compensation: $16-17 per hour 15/20 hours a week M-Thu
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the mental health practice, including client scheduling, rescheduling and time management for health care providers to ensuring smooth workflow
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Oversee and manage new new client on boarding and records
- Manage and field client questions and needs while therapist's are in session
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain electronic health record systems in Simple Practice
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and coding processes
-Collaboration with insurance carriers such as Cigna and Aetna
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Experience working in health care reception or administration (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
