JOB SUMMARY:
The Receptionist shall possess a positive, compassionate, can-do attitude, with strong problem-solving skills.
They will also be responsible for creating warm, responsive interaction between the Hospice company and the patients, families, contracted partners and other health care team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Degree: High school graduate or equivalent (GED)..
Training/Licensure: Complete Hospice Orientation and Hospice 101.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Ability to work independently, be organized and detail oriented.
Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Knowledge of hospice policies and procedures. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes.
Experience: Preferably one year’s experience in healthcare and/or Hospice.
