A Medical Coder, or Certified Professional Coder, will be responsible for reviewing a patient’s medical records after a visit and translating the information into codes that insurers use to process claims from patients. Their duties include confirming treatments with medical staff, identifying missing information and submitting forms to insurers for reimbursement.
Briefly Duties include
- Collect Daily Medical records
- Send Medical Billing via Office Ally or similar software
- Audit the Denials and Payments
- Contact Payors and insurers for denials
- Prepare Reports
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
