Life Empowerment Services is Hiring a Quality Assurance Clinician (DFCS) Near Marietta, GA

Position Title: Quality Assurance Therapist

Reports to: Program Director

Job Status: 1099 Contract position

Pay: Range from $38,000-$45,000 based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Therapist will be responsible for reviewing all counseling case notes completed by agency staff/contractors to assess for quality, accuracy, and requesting revisions. This role also consists of providing some direct, community services as well.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Licensed Counselor or Social Worker preferred with one of the following licenses: LPC, LCSW, LMSW, Associate Licensed or license eligible with minimum of 5-year post-graduate experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience of quality assurance/case documentation review
  • Minimum of 5 years providing counseling services

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Attend agency meetings and trainings, as needed
  • Attend meetings as necessary with local DFCS offices and provider meetings
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop standards of care and to implement protocols to ensure that they are being met
  • Review case documentation & request revisions adhering to company guidelines and timeframes
  • Provide support and training regarding service and billing codes to ensure services are accurately documented
  • Perform some direct services holding a counseling caseload
  • Document services in electronic health record system
  • Ensure that service processes are in line with best practices
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Knowledge of electronic health record and practice management systems. E-Case Notes and/or ARGO experiences a plus
  • Passion for serving communities and rendering effective treatment
  • Interpersonal Skills – Strong desire to support others and instruct in ways that empower
  • Computer Skills – Proficient ability to use a computer and navigate electronic medical record. MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communication - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Growth & team oriented – Demonstrated ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
  • Confidentiality – Comply with all HIPAA regulations. Maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality

  • Flexibility – Ability to adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilities
  • Leadership Skills – Ability to influence others to accomplish tasks effectively and to be responsible for making decisions
  • Organization Skills – Must have planning skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Previous Experience utilizing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System
  • Efficient with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers) and demonstrated professional demeanor
  • Ability to pass all vital background checks/screenings

  • Contract position providing counseling services in the community and in-office
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends fulfilling 12 hours/week minimum (part-time) or 25 hours/week minimum (full-time)
  • There are upfront costs part of next steps should you be extended an offer (Fingerprints, CPR, etc)
  • In this role, you will also be using your own vehicle and would be reimbursed for mileage
