Life.Church is Hiring a Producer Near Edmond, OK

The YouVersion Producer is primarily responsible for leading and coordinating projects to tell the story of YouVersion's brand impact to a diverse and global audience. This role will oversee the creative production of YouVersion's storytelling projects in collaboration with key stakeholders. This role utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of their team to further Life.Church's mission and to reach people for Christ.

What You'll Do
    • Vet potential storytelling opportunities by leading Story Interviews with users.
    • Lead Story Pitch meetings with key leaders to align goals and receive approval prior to production.
    • Write Story Playbooks to serve as the guide during the shoot, outlining the target narrative, story, arc, and b-roll needed to supplement the story.
    • Collaborate with the Brand Voice team to ensure stories align with YouVersion's voice and tone.
    • Serve as the primary interviewer on video shoots (regular travel required).
    • Ensure the appropriate crew is assigned for projects in collaboration with the Director of Filmmaking.
    • Book and coordinate travel for storytelling projects.
    • Coordinate last-minute details on video shoots.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Donor Development and Marketing teams to identify story needs for future events and campaigns.
    • Ensure videos are being shown to the right audience at the right time.
    • Provide input on systems to manage YouVersion's story database.
    • Own the YouVersion's story video database, knowing what videos are available for distribution.
    • Partner with other Life.Church teams on story initiatives and align on shared projects when possible.
    • Identify ways for story videos to be shown in more contexts across YouVersion and Life.Church.
Skills Needed to Succeed
    • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
    • Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
    • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
    • Strong understanding of industry trends in video content.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 3 - 5 years of related work experience.
    • Knowledge of filmmaking equipment and editing software is preferred.
