Life.Church is Hiring a HR Business Partner Near Edmond, OK

The HR Business Partner is primarily responsible for supporting both leaders and staff members through the events involved in the employee life cycle and business operations at Life.Church. This role will determine and recommend compensation amounts, create offer letters, complete personnel/job changes, and conduct compliance and compensation analyses.

The Life.Church HR Team supports and partners with our staff and leaders in matters of employment, organizational structure, performance, and compensation, ensuring staff are equipped to do the ministry they are called to do through resources, development, and strategic partnership

What You’ll Do

  • Support both leaders and staff members through promotions or job changes occurring on their team.
  • Review and recommend compensation structure for new hires, internal transfers, or promotions and complete corresponding personnel changes in the system.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to create or update job structures and roles.
  • Create and distribute offer letters to leaders for new hires or internal transfers.
  • Manage the creation of headcount requests and job descriptions.
  • Educate and resource Life.Church staff members as needed on organizational policies and procedures.
  • Manage compensation information and ensure the appropriate budget is allotted for all headcount.
  • Ensure organizational compliance by conducting regular compliance audits and reporting, such as EEO-1 reporting.
  • Conduct compensation analyses and craft proposals for changes as needed.
  • Case manage immigration information and ensure progress on requested petitions.
  • Partner with the HR Director to ensure the employee handbook includes up-to-date policies.
  • Stay up to date on legal changes impacting HR functions and research best practices.
Skills Needed to Succeed
  • Effective at multi-tasking, time management, and follow-up to meet committed timelines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
  • Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem-solve.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years work-related experience.
  • SHRM CP or HRCI certification preferred.
