Life.Church is Hiring a Director of Content Management Near Edmond, OK

The YouVersion Director of Content Management is primarily responsible for leading the processes and systems that manage digital assets of all formats to support partner content in our family of apps. This role leads the content management coordinators and oversees the contractors who expand capacity as needed. The Director of Content Management is also responsible for collaborating with theYouVersion Team Leader of Content to cast vision, provide direction, and lead ministry efforts within their area of influence to outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You'll Do

  • Lead content management coordinators across all content formats and features.
  • Manage contracts to expand capacity.
  • Analyze, organize, simplify, and prioritize the critical systems that manage our digital content assets.
  • Conduct appropriate research and organizational analysis to present optimal recommendations for improving internal and leveraging third-party tools.
  • Work with product and engineering leaders to ensure internal tools are increasingly reliable and scalable for global use.
  • Track effectiveness of tools and proactively diagnose areas where systems are blocked.
Skills Needed to Succeed
  • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3 –5 years of related work experience.
