General Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Special Projects Marketing Coordinator. This role will be responsible for managing various aspects of marketing projects, including relationship management with key stakeholders, execution of planning, milestone tracking, and facilitating effective communication among team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and cultivate relationships with buyers, particularly focusing on specialty concepts, Lids HD and collaborations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to execute planning and address any needs identified by team; stay informed about ongoing plans in specialty concepts, addressing any needs that may arise.
  • Perform simple SEO tasks and enhance the store finder functionality for the specialty concept stores
  • Partner with channel managers to maximize calendar year key moments for promotion, collaborations, content, manage local influencers (finds, negotiates rates, schedules visits, follows content, reports on results), manages localized events for all specialty concept stores

Recaps and Decks:

  • Prepare recaps for various initiatives and update leadership decks.
  • Build decks for cross functional internal meetings.

Calendars and Milestone Tracking:

  • Ensure all calendars are up to date based on buyer meetings and business needs.
  • Monitor and track major milestones, fostering collaboration among teams to achieve project goals.

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate Project Timelines:

  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Foster collaboration among team members to meet project objectives.

Communication Facilitation:

  • Act as a central point of contact between sub-teams and the Sr Manager.
  • Facilitate regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.
  • Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Process Improvement

  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback from team members.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and workflows for increased efficiency.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Prior marketing experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with SEO practices and website functionality enhancement is a plus.

  • Report to: Sr Manager, Collaboration, Experiential & PR
  • Works closely with: team leads from Paid Media, Campaign Management, Brand Marketing, and Visual Merchandising.
