Liberty Software is Hiring a QA Engineer Near Southlake, TX

Liberty Software is a healthcare technology company that develops software for retail pharmacies across the country. Our pharmacy management platform helps our clients increase profits, improve customer service, and enhance patient safety. We are seeking an individual with successful software quality assurance (QA) automated testing experience and a heart for service to join us as QA Engineer.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for assisting in software quality assurance efforts primarily through automated testing. Liberty Software takes great pride in its client relations and support and expects all team members, including the QA Engineer, to not only to have the necessary technical skills, but great interpersonal and communication skills as well.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not necessarily limited to):

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test strategies, including application/inter-application test plans, scenarios, and test data requirements.
  • Specialize in automated testing to enhance efficiency and reliability of our software products, utilizing tools like Test Complete to automate testing processes.
  • Analyze test results, employing both manual and automated approaches, to determine whether a build is production-ready.
  • Identify, meticulously document, and prioritize glitches, bugs, and other issues discovered during testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create detailed development issues based on identified bugs and issues, adhering to Liberty Software's established business processes.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven testing solutions, automation libraries, and automated testing frameworks and systems to prevent reoccurrence of fixed bugs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of related experience in software QA testing, particularly in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in automated testing methodologies, including the use of test management software and automated test scripts. Proficiency in QA methodologies is essential, with hands-on experience in Test Complete software considered a significant plus.
  • Proven ability to design and implement automated testing strategies to streamline the QA process and improve product quality.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing automation data to support comprehensive and repeatable automated test scenarios.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while actively contributing to team objectives within a collaborative environment.
